I have never made a best-of list at the end of the year because I tend to find that most things I really enjoyed were not released in the particular year, so this mix is not a reflection of all the music I enjoyed in 2010. Similarly, I have never set a serious resolution for the new-year because I think it’s a lousy and incredibly stressful way to impose a rule on oneself, so this mix has nothing to do with reflection or what to anticipate for the upcoming year. It is just a mix that counts down in minutes from 10 to 1 because that is the most exciting part of a New Years Eve party and it’s something I do every year. Happy New Year, fellow mixers!
